In Urbino, on the 20th of September 2009, in Piazza della Republica , took place a competition, among Norcini (pork butchers) of the Province of Pesaro -Urbino, for the best cured meat (goletta).

URBINO: an elderly housewife is the princess of the dough for  tagliatelle.


“Celli” wins  the first prize for the best seasoned goletta.


Urbino, 21 september. - (Adnkronos) -

Teresa Boinaga,71 years old,  is an housewife  in Marcatello sul Metauro (Pesaro Urbino), who won the title of “ Princess of the dough  for  tagliatelle” awarded in Urbino during the event “Il cortile del gusto”.
She  defeated 7 other  participants  with a large dough of 114 centimeters for 111.
Franco Morena of Cantiano (PU) was the only  man competing and giving a good test.
“Il cortile del gusto” , as it is said in  a note, also awarded the prize for  the agricultural entrepreneur of the year and “Mastro Norcino”.
Sergio Politi di Auditore (PU), an high quality meat farmer,  won the prize for  innovative    and quality     entrepreneur.
The prize “Mastro Norcino” , this year awarding  the best goletta,  was won by the butchery
“ Bottega della carne”  of  Domenico Celli and Donatella of Novafeltria (Pu) , for the most natural and tasty goletta.
